Greetings, Inquisitor.

As you have been granted clearance to access this database, little more needs to be clarified for you. However, it is my sworn duty to ensure that you fully understand and do not underestimate the warnings that are associated with many dissidents. Criminals such as those included within do not understand the meaning of honour, and some have been successful in defeating and even killing unprepared Inquisitors. As such, whilst each criminal listed within is to be killed on sight, ensure you are familiar with your target before closing in to dispense justice.

Information on the whereabouts and associations of the dissidents is required to be kept as up-to-date as possible, so should you have new or additional information regarding any topic within, ensure that you provide said information to the Editorial Office with haste.

Finally, and as an unfortunate addendum, we are now required to remind you that your Inquisition Database is an addition to your general database. Whilst it should go without saying that not everybody included within is a criminal - they are clearly marked as such - there have been incidents in the past that suggest that such assumptions have been made. Whilst the incidents were dealt with internally, this message was requested so as to prevent any further incidents.

BE SURE TO CHECK EVERY DETAIL.

The Council controls everything. For all that the Kingdom and the Empire were, they provided at least some level of freedom. The Council does not grant such a benefit to its citizens. You obey or you die. Walking the line is the only way to live.

For most people, at least.

You stand outside of the Council's influence; a freedom-fighter or merely a castaway from the perfection that the Council strives for. The freedom-fighters, siding with the Hunters, the Defilers or one of the likeminded but unaligned individuals who see the Council as a problem that they are the solution to, take the fight directly to the Council via the assistance of the notorious Jas Hunt. Those who are forced to merely live outside the system should hold great hope that those who fight can be victorious, as whilst right now simply standing to the side and watching may be a possibility, should those fighting for you fail it would not take long for the All-Seeing Eye of the Inquisition to turn to you.

The Grand Inquisitor may rule over everything, but they are still mortal. The Council may have technological and arcane superiority, but they can still be fought.

Are you willing to stand and fight?
